Saving money at airports and airlines when traveling.

A number of airlines have changed their policies in regards to meals on flights with the intent of reducing expenses and increasing profits. Before arriving at the airport, always check with the airline asking if there will be a meal service on your flight. If no meals will be provided or a fee will be provided, then pack your own meal before arriving at the airport. Don’t be surprised at the check-in counter to discover no meals will be served or a meal will be served at a high price which would then require you to purchase a meal from the airport vendors. The prices for the meals from the airport vendors are inflated when compared to purchasing the same outside the airport, but probably cheaper and will taste better compared to the meal purchased from the airline during the flight.
