Check if the fare is different for traveling to a different airport in the same area or even an hour away. The rates can be different when traveling to the Newark New Jersey airport as opposed to LaGuardia airport in New York City. The airports are across the bay from each other but offer a much different airfare. The price difference is mainly due to local taxes and fees.
