An alternative to parking at an airport parking lot is to park off-site. Choices are parking services or rental car agencies found near the airport. The services will typically shuttle you to the airport for no charge or for a minimal charge. Check with a travel agent or the phone book. Contact rental agencies in the area you will be traveling determining which ones offer off-site parking. Some airports have remote lots offering a cheaper rate than the closer garages and also provide you transportation to the terminal at no extra charge.

     Consider an airport shuttle service to provide transportation from your home to the airport or from the airport to your destination. The charge will be much less than parking your car, depending on the length of travel. Although, if you need your car right away, consider long-term parking rates at the airport rather than daily rates.
