Advantages of company's low price guarantees.

Due to a great deal of competition and the desire for increased customer business, many companies advertise that they offer the lowest price. Shop around for the company offering the lowest price for a product you want. The product will be exactly the same no matter where purchased since it is shipped from the manufacturer in a sealed box. The difference is the price the company purchased the product from the manufacturer and the price the company wants to offer the product to you to satisfy their profit margin. If you find an item at a company that costs more than at a previously visited company, you may be able to purchase the item at the lower cost without having to travel to the company with the lower price. Simply present an advertisement indicating the lower price or have a representative from the store, typically the manager, contact the other store confirming the lower price. You will then receive the lower price and perhaps an even greater discount because the company wants to beat a competitor's price.

Even after an item is purchased, watch for any advertisements offering the same item at a lower price. Bring the advertisement to the place of purchase, present the advertisement, then receive a refund for the difference and maybe even an additional percentage of the difference. Remember to keep your receipt. The policy can be utilized to your advantage by purchasing an item at a store offering a higher price. Return another day stating another company offers the same item at a lower price. The company will refund the difference plus a percentage of the difference. The percentage of the difference is extra money in your pocket for purchasing an item at a higher priced store.

Consider purchasing computer software from a mail order catalog for a cheaper price. The software is exactly the same no matter who it is purchased from. If there is a problem with the software, then you will have to contact the company who created the software as opposed to the company from which the software was purchased.
