Credit card use can be beneficial.

Learn to make use of credit cards towards your benefit. Instead of paying the credit card companies interest for using their money, wouldn't you rather have the credit card companies give you something instead? Many cards offer some kind of incentive program for using their card. The benefits range from receiving cash-back to merchandise. The more you spend using your credit card, the greater the benefit received. Always pay the balance each month; otherwise the expenses will outweigh the benefits.

Some cards require an annual fee to receive benefits. The cost can only be justified if the benefits outweigh the expenses. Would you like to spend $50 for the opportunity to receive a $200 benefit? I sure would! You might be able to have the annual fee waived. Simply ask.
