Saving money on meal expenses, particularly at work.

     Stop purchasing breakfast and lunch everyday while working. Eat breakfast before coming to work or bring some food with you to eat at the office. Spend several minutes a day making lunch instead of paying for it everyday. The cost of eating out for breakfast can range from about $3 - $8 everyday not to mention a cost of $6 - $12 for lunch everyday. The savings can add up to $100 a week. Take a bowl of cereal and a bottle of milk or yogurt to work each morning for breakfast. Make a sandwich for lunch and a snack for later.

     If your office has a microwave, prepare a hot meal or bring a frozen meal to be heated. The refrigerators and microwaves found at the office are meant for a purpose, for the employees to use them. If a refrigerator is not available, consider using a cooler with ice to carry the food meant to stay cool.

     NOTE: The same can be applied for most any type of daily activity, including business meetings and classes. Individuals "brown bagging" their lunch are not poor or cheap, only money wiser!
