Receiving discounts for everyday activities/events without presenting a discount/coupon.

Consider purchasing theatre tickets, going bowling, going to a bar/club, and doing any other event during the weekdays at a discount and when less busy as opposed to the weekend at a higher price when busy. Then participate in the events/activities specific to the weekend. The busiest time of the week for many businesses is on the weekends because most people are not working on the weekends. Due to the high demand on the weekends, the companies charge more for the same activity/event for which someone can enjoy during the weekday at a reduced price.

Many food items can be found in different sizes at different prices. The prices will increase as the portions increase, but not proportionally. For example: a 12-ounze soda may cost $1.00, but a 24-ounze soda will typically not cost $2.00, but instead probably $1.50. The larger size is a better deal, or is it? The larger size may be more than you can consume and it may be more than you should consume. Not only should the cost be an important factor, but the nutritional factor is important as well. Therefore, share the purchase with someone else to split the cost and reduce the negative nutritional impact.
